FAQ
How are your pieces made?
Each piece begins as a hand carved wax model and is sand cast in solid gold using traditional techniques that give the surface its signature ancient texture.
What does “sand cast” mean?
Sand casting is an ancient casting method where molten metal (gold, silver) is poured into a compressed fine sand mold that leaves behind a raw, organic surface; no two castings are ever identical.
Can I wear my jewelry every day?
Yes, solid gold is made for daily wear. That said, I recommend removing your piece during heavy activity to preserve its finish over time.
How should I care for my jewelry?
A soft tooth brush and mild soap are usually all you need. Avoid harsh chemicals and store pieces separately to prevent scratching. Some gemstones do not do well in an ultrasonic (emeralds, soft stones).
When will my order ship?
One of a kind pieces typically ship within a few business days. Made to order pieces take between 2-4 weeks to ship. All pieces ship from my studio in California, carefully packaged and sent with fully insured, trackable delivery so your piece is protected every step of the way.
Do you offer returns?
Due to the nature of the work, all sales are final. I am a small business and run everything myself and will always do my best to make things right if there is an issue with your piece.
